From a young age, in the north of Kazakhstan, my passion for flowers blossomed in my grandmothers bewitching garden. She cherished flowers and the emotion they could bring to people. This stuck with me as a child and is an everlasting memory that I stay fond of with all of my arrangements.
Transitioning from childhood to adulthood, I took my passion for floristry with me on my journey of life. I travelled to China and immersed myself in Asian culture – especially that of Asian style floristry. One of my earliest memories in the country was taking a deep dive into the renowned Sakura – better known as the Cherry Blossom, a national obsession in most parts of Asia.
